Matthew has been invited to perform and teach at the 6th International Guitar Festival of Arequipa, in Peru. The festival runs from the 4th to the 8th of August.
Matthew will be sharing the stage for the opening night celebration concert with Sebastian Vachez, Escuela de Arte U, Fernado Palomino, Mitsuo Covinos, Juan Avendano & Claudio Arbanil. The festival has 4 concert evenings each dedicated to a different styles of guitar playing with the last night being a mixture of all styles & players:
5th August – CLASICO – JAZZ
6th August – FOLKLORE PERUANO Y LATINOAMERICANO
7th August – NOCHE FLAMENCA
8th August – GRAN FINAL
On the 8th of August – the last night of the festival Matthew will give the second half of the final concert. All concerts are held in the Theatro Municipal – Arequipa Peru & begin at 7pm. Masterclasses & Tuition will be held in various colleges and school in area.

After the festival Matthew will embark on a tour of southern Peru & northern Chilie giving recitals in the towns and cities of Aplao, Camaná, Mollendo, Ilo, Iquique & Tacna
