Maelasta’s return in December 2004 to the Younger Hall (St Andrews) concert series is to be recorded and featured on the duo’s debut release for naturalstudio records.
After their unforgetable Edinburgh Festival debut the duo’s spirited interpretations of compositions by Gismonti, de Falla, Fernando Sor and Mon Pou are ready to commit to record.
Combined with a studio recording of Astor Piazzolla’s ‘Histoire du Tango’, this album promises to be an explosive exploration of Spanish and South American music.
